Barker Designs was tasked to dress the stage, bleachers, and backstage areas with over 13,000 square feet of carpet and what seemed like miles of blue velour. From “GO” to Install was less than a week and we only had 2.5 days on site. Almost all of the Fabrication was done in the field. Certainly an event we will not forget!

Sesame Street - Letter of the Day Tour

Nationwide, USA

K is for Kindness and F is for friendship! Our friends at Oasis Productions tasked us with designing and creating this set and the supporting experiential elements for this 10-week pop-up tour that traveled across the country, introducing preschoolers and caregivers to the “letter of the day – K” and its special messaging about kindness. It was such a hit and packed each stop along the way so the pop-up tour hit the road for a second year, celebrating the 48th season and featuring a “new letter of the day – F” and messaging about friendship.

Virginia Tech - Innovation Campus Opening

Alexandria, VA

When Bond Events asked us to design and create fun and polished moments for the opening of Virginia TEch’s Innovation Campus in Alexandria, VA, we knew exactly what to do. The innovative design of the building’s exterior was so unique, it became a design motif we were excited to use and showcase. Creating the seamless backdrop with the building floating inches off the face was a fun challenge to dream up and even more fun to execute!

What better way to launch a new product than to host an EPIC weekend of play and discovery in an EPIC location!? Our friends at Oasis Productions tapped us to conceptualize and create the environment for this event! Load in & out was limited to after mall hours, so we had to build things that were modular and easy to assemble. The project was fast paced from start to finish and the client loved the environment we created.

TMNT 400 Sliming

CHicagoland Speedway - Joliet, il

We’ve designed our fair share of slime delivery devices, but this was by far our favorite to date! Our client, Oasis, tasked us with designing a stand out moment to slime the winner and pit crew of the 2018 Tail of the Turtles 400. Once 20 gallons of the green stuff hit the driver, 30 gallons sprayed over the unknowing pit crew! We may not have slept the night before but the end results (and mess) were worth it.

KODY KAPOW Show Lauch

When Universal Kids launched the show Kody Kapow, they tapped Oasis to bring this activation to life. We were asked us to design an immersive experience to introduce new fans to the show. One problem… The Artwork didn’t exist in a format that was usable for large format printing!! Luckily we have skilled Graphic Designers on call to create original work, or to make print worthy graphics based on client art. This pop-up dojo included a martial arts studio, video game hall, app station, photo-ops, craft center and a ninja warrior course. Guests completed these tasks to earn a prize.

Our client, Oasis has had us design a lot of devices with one purpose, SLIMING PEOPLE! Whether it’s a helmet with a colander bolted to the top, or a “Shaboozinator” to drop a 10’ wide curtain of slime on queue, we can do it! It’s fun & messy work and we can’t do it enough!
